REDFORD MODEL RAILROAD CLUB
The Redford Model Railroad Club models the "Sand Hill and Western Railroad".  The club is dedicated to the enjoyment of model railroading.  It was established in 1938 and the club owns an air-conditioned train layout building with a separate library/meeting room.  Their layout is a 26' x 52' HO layout with a central dispatch panel controlling double track main, single track main and branch line which ends at a ferry.  Beginners and Veterans alike enjoy the camaraderie of fellow railroad hobbyists.  The club also has socials and outings, and receives discounts at local hobby shops.

Visitors are welcome at meetings held at the Clubhouse at 7:30 PM Thursdays (except for the last Thursday of the month).  Stop by and check it out.  The club is located at 27316 Michigan Avenue, east of Inkster Road.  The phone number is 313-565-1027.
