HAZMAT Spill Near NS in Ypsilanti
    

The Norfolk Southern Michigan line was closed briefly this afternoon due to some type of acid spill near their tracks in Ypsilanti.  Fire Department hazmat teams responded to the incident.  No one was seriously injured.  The incident was reported at 1:50 p.m. and fire units cleared from the scene by about 6:00 p.m.  The identity of the chemical and source of the spill has not been determined as of this posting.
