Description:

Its 1983 and the Amtrak International has just cleared customs at Port Huron and is proceeding west past Tappan Interlocking enroute to Chicago.  This photo tells several stories.  Note the GTW Tunnel Yard in the rear center and left, as well as the C&O Yard in the rear right of the tower.  The CSX line from Saginaw crosses the GTW just east (above) the train.
