Description:

The Lake Shore & Michigan Southern freight house in Jackson has received a new lease on life and has been remodeled.  The freight house is on the former LSMS Jackson Branch, just before it connected with the MCRR main line in the late 1800's.  The freight house is in the shadow of the new Consumers Energy headquarters.
