Description:

CSX 8040, with a short local, heads eastbound past the old Pere Marquete depot at Plymouth, enroute to East Yard.   May, 2002. Plymouth continues to be a significant crossing and junction point for the CSX.  It was originally the crossing of the Flint & Pere Marquette line from Flint to Toledo, and the Detroit, Lansing and Lake Michigan line from Detroit to Grand Rapids.
