Description:

Norfolk Southern 9806 leads a train south on the Junction Yard branch.  The train is approaching Schaefer Tower in Dearborn.  Schaefer Tower is one of only two manned interlocker towers in the Detroit area.  It protects the crossing of the GTW's former DT&I gateway into the Ford Rouge Plant.  June, 2004
