YD Tower:  This tower was removed and replaced by a ground level shanty, similar to the shanty at Town Line.  Also known as Pleasant Street.  Though this location is commonly known as as junction, it was originally a crossing, as the DD&D (MC Junction Yard Branch) crossed the LSMS to get to the MC main line track which was east of the LSMS track.  Later, the LSMS and MC tracks became the southbound and northbound main lines of a joint NYC operation.  Tower burned in 1967 because of a defective coal stove.  Interlocker was then remote controlled from the (Rouge) Bridge.
