Opened at Winthrop
Junction in 1915 and shipped from 1917 to 1929. In 1916, the
mine was sold by Cleveland Cliffs Iron Company to the Oliver Company
because the Section 16 Mine was caving to the southeast of the
Holmes. This mine operated until 1946. [EHMT]
