• The mine was located south of what is today's Bell Memorial Hospital.  Two of its sharts are still rather open and sitting right at the edge of Bluff Street.  At least one of these shafts was an air shaft for the Cliffs Shafts which ultimately also mined the Moro ore.  Moro opened in 1890 and shipped until 1918.  It's official location is the south half of the NE quadrant of Section 10, T47N-R27W.  [EHMT]
