In operation in Ishpeming in
1864. This mine was originally owned by a A. R. Harlow of
Marquette. It consisted of four inclined pits operating
between 32 and 57 degrees downward. In 1893, the mine stopped
operation for 5 years. It shipped again in 1899 and 1900, and
