The Iron and Copper Country Express were numbered No. 101 (northbound) and No. 102 (southbound).  The trains had the following assigned equipment as of 1931:

 

101 (Northbound):

  • Chicago to Ishpeming via Escanaba:  Sleeping car

  • Chicago to Marquette:  Reclining chair cars

  • Chicago to Green Bay:  Above, plus Parlor car

  • Chicago to Milwaukee:  Above, plus Dining car.

 

102 (Southbound):

  • Ishpeming to Chicago via Escanaba:  Sleeping car, reclining chair cars

  • Marquette to Chicago:  Sleeping car

  • Iron River to Chicago:  Sleeping car
