Grand Trunk
Western 2684, a 2-8-0, highballs northeast towards Pontiac after
crossing the MC diamond at M.A.L. Junction north of Jackson.
This photograph was taken at the entrance road to the City's sewage
treatment plant. 2-8-0's were common power on the GTW's
Jackson Branch. In the 1940-50's when this photo was taken,
the line operated with a daily round trip freight.
