NYC trains wait at Bay City East Side Passenger Station

Several passenger trains stand waiting for their scheduled departure from the New York Central's Bay City East Side Station.  September, 1953.  The NYC operation in Bay City covered both sides of the Saginaw River.  The main line (of the Bay City Branch and Mackinaw Branch) traversed the west side of the river with a line crossed the Saginaw River to reach the east side passenger facility and numerous freight customers.  [Al Smith Collection]
