A Michigan Central passenger train navigates flood waters

A Michigan Central passenger train navigates through the flood waters in March, 1908.  The location is believed to be at Battle Creek.  The train appears to be coming by a stockyard and there is a railroad yard in the background.  the locomotive number appears to be 8452 which would make it a 4-6-2 Pacific class K-80b, built by Alco in August, 1905.  The locomotive was scrapped in April, 1932..  [Mark Worrall Collection]
