This C&O Allegheny 2-6-6-6 locomotive was one of the largest in
the U.S. The locomotive and tender had a combined weight
of 1.2 million pounds. The locomotive drivers were 67"
tall and the tender carried 25,000 gallons of water and 25 tons
of coal.
