The
Michigan Central reached Toledo in the mid-1800s and
interchanged with the Clover Leaf and other lines south of
Toledo via a long elevated line which passed over the Lake
Shore's east-west Main line. This is one of the bridge
abutments at Buckingham Street in Toledo which carried the
freight line. The bridge was built in 1928 and is near
Nebraska Avenue. 2006
