From Bob Thatcher of the Bluewater Chapter, NRHS:  The former Pere Marquette roundhouse in Saginaw was reduced in size over the years to ten stalls (1-10).   In mid-1987, CSX shut it down.   Later that year, the Bluewater Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society leased the roundhouse with attached machine shop and the turntable, and we have been in there ever since.  It serves as the storage and maintenance base for our fleet of 15 passenger cars.  For more information on the Bluewater Chapter, click here.
