Above, a 1920 view of the Michigan Central Bay City depot, known as the "east side" depot.   [T. J. Gaffney Collection]  Below, a postcard view of the same depot,  This was the Michigan Central's main passenger depot in Bay City, though most of their freight yards, car shops and the roundhouse were on the west side of the Saginaw River ("west side").

A postcard view of two Bay City depots.  The top depot is the Michigan Central depot in East Bay City.  The depot at the bottom is the Pere Marquette Union depot, which was shared by the PM and the Detroit & Mackinac Railway.  The City had at least three other depots:  The Detroit, Bay City & Western depot was near the pictured MCRR depot.  There was also a MCRR depot in West Bay City as well as a Grand Trunk Western depot.  East and West Bay City were eventually merged.

Above, a postcard photo of the MCRR East Side sttaion, in 1910.  Below, a photograph of the Michigan Central Railroad station at Bay City, East Side.
