The Detroit & Mackinac Railway depot at Aloha, Michigan.  Aloha is a small resort town on the east side of Mullet Lake.  A state park is located at the hamlet.  [Alan Loftis Collection]  Below, a color postcard of the same depot in the early part of the 20th century.  The Aloha depot was somewhat unique in Michigan and had one of the few "look-out" towers.  This tower gave views an advanced view of oncoming trains as well as a view of the beautiful sunsets on Mullet Lake.  [T.
