E&LS Junction inside Escanaba, Michigan in Delta County.  This seldom used crossing allows the E&LS to have access to the downtown area where its depot was located in the earlier part of the 20th century.  The E&LS route (straight ahead in the photo towards Wells) crosses the CN's former C&NW double track ore line which extends to the ore docks on the lake shore.  The crossing is protected by a gate which is normally set against the E&LS.  2003 photo.
