Two photos of the coaling dock for the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad in Escanaba.  The photo below shows the turntable for steam engines, no longer in use as well as the standing tower.  These 6-axle Alco units powered ore trains between Negaunee and the ore docks at Escanaba during the 1960's, 1970's.  [Charlie Whipp photos].
