Escanaba & Lake Superior motor car 22 is being turned on a small turntable at Ralph, ready for its return trip to Wells.  The E&LS maintained two trains northwest from Wells and this was one of them.  The motor car served a long-standing U.S. postal service contract to small towns north and west of Escanaba.  [From Lucius Beebe's Mixed Train Daily, Greg Bunce collection]
