The Detroit and Mackinac Railway depot in East Tawas.  This was the original depot in 1890 which was later replaced by a new depot on the city limits with Tawas City.  [Dale Berry Collection]  Below, another photo of the East Tawas station with the Holland Hotel on the right.  The D&M train in this photo is heading southbound.  [Alan Loftis Collection]

The photo below is reported to be the Detroit & Mackinac Ry. offices in East Tawas.  The depot at the right matches the depot above, which was accross from the Holland Hotel.  We are not sure about the purpose of the building to the rear of the depot.  [Alan Loftis Collection]
