Comments on RRHX Bulletin Board ("Graydon Meints") on 1/10/2004: In response to a question about a red brick building that appears to be a former station... I believe you are referring to the New York Central (nee Lake Shore & Michigan Southern) passenger station that is at the foot of Seward Street and east of Lexington Street. The P{M (CSX) tracks are farther east by several hundred feet. The station served the Elkhart-Kalamazoo-Grand Rapids passenger trains of the NYC. | |
