Above, the Lake Shore & Michigan Southern (later NYC) depot at Deerfield, in eastern Lenawee County.  This depot is now located on the A&B in Blissfield.  [Alan Loftis Collection].  Below, remnants of  a Lake Shore & Michigan Southern trestle over a creek, about 1 mile east of Deerfield.  Farmers have cropped the right-of-way down on either side and left the trestle standing.  The line was last used in 1975.  [Dale Berry photo in 2003]
