This
is modern day (2002) Grovsnor, Michigan. The line at the left is
the Adrian & Blissfield (former NYC Old Road). In the distance,
about 2 miles ahead, is Blissfield. Behind the photographer is
Palmyra, Lenawee Jct. and Adrian. The track going off the main
line to the right is the former LSMS/NYC Fayette Branch to Jasper,
Westin, Morenci and Fayette, Indiana. The former Ann Arbor 303,
painted in NYC colors, is stored on this spur, which is only about 200
yards long. There used to be a wye at Grovsnor, but the east leg
was pulled up many years ago as the branch was served almost
exclusively by trains originating at Adrian. A closer shot of
