Two
photos from Raisin Center. The top photo is looking north on the
former LSMS Jackson Branch (now the Southern Michigan Railroad)
towards Tecumseh. Notice the southbound signal which has been
restored by the SMRS. The photo below looks south towards
Lenawee Jct. The crossing was pulled in the 1980's by NS and has
not been reinstalled. Beyond the NS double main track, you can
see the roadbed of the former Jackson Branch as well as the remnants
of the NB signal. For many years, Raisin Center was an automatic
