This is an old photograph of the Whitmore Lake depot.  Whitmore Lake was served by two railroads and we believe this to be the Grand Trunk Western's Jackson Branch, on the north (Livingston County) side of the lake.  The community was also served by the Ann Arbor Railroad (on the Washtenaw County side) the that railroad did not come this close to the lake shore.  [Alan Loftis Collection]
