The inside of Hallett Tower
which is
located on the north side of Toledo. It is the crossing of the
Ann Arbor Railroad and the Toledo Terminal (CSX). The tower,
operated by Ann Arbor, acts as the dispatching office for the Ann
Arbor Railroad north to just north of Ann Arbor and the branch from
Pittsfield Jct. to Saline. The photo above is of the model
board, a staple in almost all interlocking towers. Below is
the electromechanical interlocking machine which controls the
