The Grand Trunk Western depot at Romeo was a combination passenger and freight depot, located on GTW's Romeo subdivision.  This photograph was taken in May, 1975.  The photo below was taken in November, 1982.  Both the depot and tracks are gone today.  [Charlie Whipp photo.]

CN 6419 leads a light set of power on the Romeo subdivision at 33 Mile Road, just northeast of town.  Fall, 1996.  [Dan Meinhard]

The St. Clair and Chicago Air Line Railroad described to the Michigan Commissioner of Railroads a bridge one and one half miles east of Romeo, which was a covered truss, in center 79 feet, and each end is bent trestle extending to the embankments.  It was 360 feet long.  [MCR/1873]
