"High Bridge", over the Manistee River in Manistee County is dismantled in October, 1955.  This line was originally the Pere Marquette main line from Grand Rapids to Traverse City.  As a part of the consolidating of operations with the Manistee & Northeastern, the M&NE line was used and this bridge, one of the largest in Michigan was removed.  [D.
