This is an old photo of the Union Depot at Kaleva, in Manistee County.  Kaleva was the crossing of the Pere Marquette line from Baldwin to Traverse City, and the Manistee & Northeastern with it's wandering main line from Mainstee to Traverse City.  When the M&NE came under PM ownership, the M&NE was eliminated between Kaleva and Interlochen in favor of the PM route.  [Alan Loftis Collection]  Below, 2004 photographs of the former Kaleva Union Depot.  The top photo is the street side, the bottom photo faces the former diamond, trackside.  [Alan Loftis]
