Niagra, Wisconsin is served
by a former Chicago & Northwestern (now CN) branch line which begins
near Quinessec, MI and crosses the Menominee River near Little Quinessec
Falls. The photo above shows an Alco RS-36 (C&NW 4259) heading
down the grade into Niagra with two box cars and a caboose. The grade from Quinessec, which can be
bettr seen in photo below, is significant. Niagra has a Kimberly-Clark
plant and receives regular rail traffic. Top photo was taken
