The tracks going down along the river in Menominee are operated by both CN and E&LS.  In the old days, the C&NW and the MILW both had lines side by side all over town.  All have been consolidated over the years.  The E&LS gets some type of order from the CN to cross the bridge.  E&LS gets inbound scrap paper to Great Lakes.  I know they get inbound wax tankers to MPC.  I don't think they get much outbound loads since MPC shut down #1 pulp mill.

MPC gets bailed pulp from outside sources to run #2 pulp mill.  I've seen the CN spot cars into the pulp dock.  I don't know if the E&LS still goes back there.  They have in the past.

The Menominee Branch is CN until the yard lead for the E&LS (formally a seperate C&NW line until Great Lakes was built).  The Marinette branch is CN track.  The MILW had their own line at one time.  E&LS has trackage rights up to Spec. Chemical.  They have Ansul, Spec and Marinette Marine.  The CN could go down to the Waupaca Foundry if they needed to.  They were supposed to start getting cars again (C&NW used to switch them twice a day) but nothing came of it.
