The Milan Interlocking Tower, which protected the crossing of the Wabash/Norfolk Southern and the Ann Arbor Railroad.  The tower was originally used in Britton, and then moved to Milan in the early part of the 20th century.  The photo above was taken in 1988. The photo below was taken in 1983 and shows the NS (Wabash) depot.  Today, the tower is gone but the depot remains and is used as a section house.  [Both photos - Charlie Whipp collection.]

Below, the same photo as above, but taken much earlier.  It appears that the tower below is the original tower, before the Britton Tower was moved to Milan.  [Alan Loftis Collection]
