An overhead, panoramic view
of Monroe in 1866. Note that two passenger trains were drawn in
the view. The first, in the lower portion of the photo, is an
eastbound train coming into Monroe on the Michigan Southern and
Northern Indiana line from Adrian. The other train is in the
upper left portion of the photo, and appears to be a southbound train
on either the Lake Shore or MCRR route from Detroit to Toledo. |
