The original Pere Marquette station at South Lyon.  This building burned down and was replaced by a "Witch's Hat" style union station.  The cars at the back are on the connection track between the PM and the GTW Jackson Branch, along side the local elevator.  The elevator has been restored and still exists today (2004).  [South Lyon Area Historical Society/Alan Loftis Collection]
