This tower at Hammler, Ohio protected the crossing of the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad and the Detroit, Toledo & Ironton Railroad.  The tower contained an "armstrong" type interlocking machine.  Over the years, the railroads filled in the windows of this beautiful brick tower.  Two photos of the interior are shown below.  [Charlie Whipp photos.]
