Below, a 1983 photo of a
large signal bridge over the New York Central line on the west side
of Saginaw. This bridge, which originally controlled at least
two of the four lines, still has one target signal in place.
Note the large bases which held the wiring for the former semaphore
signals. Today, such wire boxes are a fraction of the size, or
