(Above)  The Michigan Central Railroad depot in Dexter, Michigan, taken in February, 1989.  The depot now houses the Huron Valley Model Railroad Club.  [Charlie Whipp photo.]  This depot was built in 1886 and is of wood construction.  (Below) an eastbound passenger train stops to take on passengers at Dexter in 1900.  Note that the railroad main line is still single-tracked as of this date.  It was double tracked shortly thereafter.  [Stoner photo.
