The Lake Shore depot at Manchester, which was located on the line from Tecumseh to Jackson.  Ypsilanti Branch trains (from Ypsilanti to Hillsdale) used this depot by backing down the Jackson branch from Manchester Jct.  [Alan Loftis Collection]

The Detroit, Hillsdale and Indiana Railroad Company reported to the Michigan Commissioner of Railroads that the bridge over the Raisin River in downtown Manchester was made of wood, "ordinary" construction.  It was 360 feet long and built during 1870.  [MCR/1873]
