Farnsworth Yard was a Grand Trunk Western facility on their original D&M line on the near east side of Detroit just south of Lake Shore Jct. Like many yards in Detroit, a team track was located there for shippers who wanted to "transload" to a freight car from a truck or hack. The yard appeared to be operational in the 1940's but the dates are uncertain.
