This photo above, taken around 1915, shows a MCRR train approaching 15th Street interlocking from the area of the old Third Street station.  The photo was taken after the Detroit-Windsor tunnel was built, but probably before the new MCRR station was opened.  Below, a postcard view of an electric motor locomotive with the 15th Street Interlocker tower in the background.

  • 1935:  Fifteenth Street tower communicated on Grade Line No. 7 (1 long).  Other on this grade line were Bay City Junction (3 short); and 20th Street (2 short).  [MC Detroit Terminal Timetable No. 76]
