A 1977 view of Fordson Yard (directly ahead), taken from a Grand Trunk engine.  To the left is the C&O Rougemere Yard engine facility.  Fordson Yard was used by the DT&I, and later by CN to service the Ford Rouge Works.  In this photo, the yard is largely empty.  It was commonly used for coal and coke cars.  [Charles Geletzke Jr.]
