The Wabash's main freight yard in the Detroit terminal was Oakwood Yard (now referred to as Manifest Yard) on their line to St. Louis. The yard is located in Melvindale, just west of Schaefer Road. In addition to freight classification, the yard also included a stock yard for animals on the south side.
