Wayne Jct. is the
interlocking of the E-W Conrail line crossing the N-S Chessie System
line. An "armstrong" type 2-story interlocking controlled this
crossing. The tower was staffed by Conrail operators. This
photo above was taken on April 28, 1985. The rain is DREL (Detroit to Elkhart, Indiana).
