Note 1: 1926: Lansing Washington Avenue is protected by watchman 7:00 am until 5:00 pm daily, except Sunday. During time not protected by watchman, trains and engines must stop within 50 feet of the street before crossing. Lansing Baker St. is protected by watchman 7:00 am until 5:00 pm daily, except Sunday. During time not protected by watchman, trains and engines must stop within 25 feet of the street before crossing. Note 2: 1926: All trains must be flagged over Superior Street, Albion, between 6:00 pm and 11:00 pm. Note 3: 1926: Manual block signals in effect on entire branch. Other Notes: 1926: Passenger train speed not to exceed 50 m.p.h., freight trains 30 m.p.h. Restrictions: 10 m.p.h. in Albion, 6 m.p.h. in Eaton Rapids, 6 m.p.h. in Lansing. Passenger trains on this branch use the Michigan Central passenger depot at Albion under protection of interlocking signals. At North Lansing, Pere Marquette yard engines may use the Lansing Branch main track to make delivery to interchange track. Dispatched from Hillsdale in 1926. Scheduled Trains: 1926: Two passenger trains daily except Sunday in each direction between Jonesville (Hillsdale) and Lansing. #42 and 44 southbound, and #41 and 43 northbound. These were morning and afternoon runs. One 2nd class freight train was also scheduled in each direction daily except Sunday. Meets of these trains on single track occurred at Albion.
