Port of Detroit

The Port of Detroit is located on the Detroit River along the river front, from an area bordered on the northeast at the Conner Creek power plant southwest to the steel mills in River Rouge, Ecorse and Wyandotte. This has been a busy port over the years, receiving coal and raw materials (such as iron ore), and shipping out agriculture products, machinery, railroad cars, newly built boats and many other products.
