Railroad: Superior Terminal Railway Company

The Superior Terminal Railway company was established in 1893 to operate a railroad near the Lake Superior Mine in Ishpeming. The railroad apparently operated until 1931.

Time Line

1931. The MPUC authorizes the Superior Terminal Railway Co. to sell its rights of way, tracks, equipment and other railroad property to the Lake Superior Iron Company. [MPUC-1931]
