Station: Jennings, MI

Jennings was a lumber center in western Missaukee County, about five miles west of Lake City. It was founded about 1883. [MPN]. It was located at the end of a short branch line which left the Missaukee Branch at Round Lake Junction. The town was also known as Round Lake.


In the Matter of the Application of the Pennsylvania Railroad Company for Authority to Discontinue Its Freight and Ticket Agency at Jennings, Michigan. D-1888. September 15, 1924.

Application having been made by the Pennsylvania Railroad Company for leave to discontinue its freight and ticket agency at Jennings, Missaukee County, Michigan, and to establish in lieu thereof a non-agency station ; and the same having been brought on to be heard and the testimony in relation thereto having been duly considered:

It is HEREBY ordered by the Michigan Public Utilities Commission, That said Pennsylvania Railroad Company be and it is hereby authorized to discontinue its freight and ticket agency at Jennings, Michigan, and to establish in lieu thereof a non-agency station.
